Prayer Resources
Welcome to the Prayer Resources page. Here you will find guidance, reflections, and practical tools to support you in drawing closer to God through prayers for the intercession of the Holy Martyrs, daily prayers, meditations on the mysteries of the Rosary, and praying with Scripture. Whether you are just beginning or have prayed regularly for many years, these resources are offered to help you encounter the Lord with greater fidelity and hope.

Daily Prayers
Daily prayer anchors our hearts in God amid the joys and challenges of everyday life. Setting aside even a few quiet moments throughout the day creates space to listen to the Holy Spirit, offer our needs and gratitude, and entrust the day into God’s hands. Consider adding one (or more) of the following to your daily routine.
- Begin and end your day with a simple prayer of offering and thanksgiving.
- Pray the Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be slowly, reflecting on each phrase at least one time per day.
- Consider beginning a new habit of praying The Angelus three times per day at 6 am, noon, and 6 pm as a constant reminder the Mystery of the Incarnation and of Mary’s humble acceptance of God’s will for her.
- Consider praying the English Martyrs Novena prior to their Feast Day on May 24.
- Consider saying a daily Prayer to the North American Martyrs each morning or evening.
- Keep a short written list of people and intentions you want to lift up each day.
The Rosary
The Rosary is a Catholic Sacramental that fosters meditative prayer that leads us to contemplate the life of Christ through the eyes of Mary. As we repeat the familiar prayers, our hearts are invited to rest in the mysteries of Jesus’ birth, ministry, passion, death, and resurrection.
Consider setting aside a regular time each day to pray the Rosary, whether alone, with family, or in a faith-sharing group. You may wish to:
- Choose one set of mysteries (Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful, or Glorious) to focus on each day.
- Read a short Scripture verse before each decade to deepen your meditation.
- Offer each decade for a specific intention or person.
- Pray along with an audio Rosary or prayer app if that helps you stay focused.
Scripture Readings
Praying with Scripture allows God’s Word to speak directly to us. As you read and reflect on the Bible, you are invited to listen for how the Lord is consoling, challenging, or guiding you today.
You might begin by:
- Reading the daily Mass readings and choosing one verse to carry with you through the day.
- Spending time each week with a Gospel passage, imagining yourself in the scene with Jesus.
- Journaling a short response to what you sense God is saying to you through the text.
- Praying slowly with the Psalms, allowing their words to become your own prayer.
As you explore these resources, know that you are not alone on your journey of faith. God delights in drawing near to us, and the Church prays with you, and for you. May these prayers, meditations, and Scripture reflections help you to deepen your relationship with the Lord, grow in faith and hope, and discover the peace that comes from a life rooted in Christ.
